Masters Program
The Tahoe Endurance Masters Program was built to fill a long-missing gap in the North Lake Tahoe ski community — creating a place where adult athletes can train together, improve their skiing, and stay connected to the sport in a meaningful way.
Whether your goal is fitness, technique development, racing at a high level, or simply being part of a motivated ski community, the program is designed to provide expert coaching, purposeful training, and an environment that keeps skiing fun, challenging, and rewarding.
Running September 1 through March 31, the program brings together athletes who are passionate about pushing themselves, learning, and sharing the experience with others who love the sport just as much.
This program is intended for skiers with prior Nordic skiing experience, including familiarity with both skate and classic technique. In general, athletes should have at least 3+ years of Nordic skiing background to fully benefit from the program structure and training environment.

Masters Competition Program
For athletes pursuing high-level performance and competition. This is an elite-level masters training group built for highly motivated skiers who want a serious and structured approach to training and racing.
The Competition Program follows a similar philosophy and structure to the nationally recognized Tahoe Endurance Junior Comp Team and is designed for masters athletes looking to train at a high level with equally driven teammates.
This is not a casual ski fitness group. Athletes should already have a strong foundation in both skate and classic skiing and be prepared for focused, performance-oriented training.
In general, this group is best suited for athletes competing at or near Wave 1 level for the Great Ski Race or equivalent regional race performance. If you are unsure whether this program is the right fit, please reach out to the coaches. We are happy to help guide athletes toward the program that best matches their current level and long-term goals.
Includes:
2 coach-led sessions per week
Elite-level training structure and coaching
Intervals, ski-specific strength, running, bounding, rollerskiing, race preparation, and race-focused technique work
Elite-level team training plan
World Cup video analysis and education
Select local race support
